Introduction


This is the third edition of a compilation of research and evaluation information on conflict resolution education programs in schools. This edition was made possible by a mini-grant from CRInfo, the web-based conflict information source, under their grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. CRInfo has published this database of information in a searchable format on this website. The ongoing support of CRInfo, especially the assistance of Heidi and Guy Burgess in technical and other matters, is greatly appreciated.

Most of the 460 entries have annotations written by the authors, by others who have assisted with this project or by myself. This collection includes information beginning in the early 1980's on academic research published in dissertations and theses; U.S. Department of Education document references published in ERIC; and unpublished project evaluation reports prepared for school systems or for organizations that funded the project. In some cases, journal articles have been written based on these reports.
